Stucco • Wood • Aluminum / Metal Gutters • Garage Doors • Brick • Wood Windows • Cinder Blocks • Aluminum Siding • Patio Covers • Fencing • and most other exterior building materials.

SURFACE PREP & PRIME

Remove surface contaminants with an appropriate cleaner. Remove peeled or damaged paint. Sand glossy surfaces dull. Seal stains with the appropriate primer. Surface pH must be less than 9.

Drywall: Fill cracks and holes with patching compound/spackle and sand smooth.
Masonry, Cement, Block: Fill rough surfaces if desired. All surfaces must be cured. If not cured, use Formula 50/50 Masonry Primer. Remove all form release and curing agents.
Caulking: Fill gaps with appropriate caulk after priming.
Plaster: Plaster must be hard and cured.
Wood: Patch imperfections with a wood filler.
Sand to a fresh surface.

Power wash to remove dirt, grime and chalking. Use detergents when necessary to remove grease and mildew stains.

Caulk fine lines around windows, doors, joints between trim and other openings.

For drastic color change when applying dark colors over light colors indicated with a dagger (†) on the color chip, apply a tinted prime coat of formula 50/50 if needed.

APPLICATION

Apply at temperatures above 35°F. No reduction required. When air temperature is at 35°F, surfaces may be colder. Make sure surface, air and material temperatures are above 35°F and at least 6°F above due point. Avoid using if snow or rain is expected within 3 hours. Avoid applying when surface or air temperatures may drop below 35°F within 48 hours.

Stir paint as needed, and intermix containers of same product batch to ensure color and sheen uniformity.

If using a sprayer and thinning is required, thin with water at a rate of no more than 1/2 pint per gallon. Do not thin if using a roller or brush.

Not suitable for use on floors.

Surface maybe power washed after 4 weeks. A mild, non-abrasive detergent may be used. Dried paint film is mild to resistant.

Allow 12-16 hours of dry time between coats on heavy stains and woods that contain tannins.
